Curb Appeal
Begin with the outside of your house, or your curb appeal. Look at the exterior of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What positive characteristics seem hidden?
Understanding this assists us in deciding what we can do to entice buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't attractive on the outside with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Examining your home with a critical eye, I'll advise you of fixes that build up Open House appeal.
I'll tell you put out of sight things that give the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be neatly arranged. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Ugly or messy spaces make your home feel unkempt and buyers have a more difficult time seeing themselves calling your place home.
I know exactly what a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that could use polishing, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively affect the sale.
We'll ensure your house is appealing and that it's inviting, staying away from "loud" or "can't-work-with" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about borrowing furnishings. You want your place to look inviting as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when you're ready to open your home up to buyers, because everything comes together to set the stage for what buyers can envision when they consider buying your house. To eliminate shadows a mood changer and we'll open curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and make sure a pleasant aroma flows throughout your home. We'll include cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your chairs and bed. Buyers should feel like your current place is their future home. |
